Street Spirit Trading was established in 2007 by an innovative entrepreneur Mr Uma Kunta who saw opportunities for trading of commodities, consulting to mining companies and hiring of heavy equipment to the mining industry amongst others. Our CEO’s experience lies in Mining supported by a B Eng degree and MBA degree acquired early in his career. Specialist areas are mine development, costing models, production supply chain management and marketing of commodities. Experience has been developed at the coalface in organisations such as Mapoch’s Mine, Evraz Highveld Steel & Vanadium Corporation, Sedibeng Iron Ore mine, Kareepan Manganese mine and Lime-Chem limestone mine in various roles of management.
